I had a good stay at the hotel. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and my request for room allocation was fulfilled, which I really appreciated. The rooms are on the smaller side, but they are well-equipped with all the necessary amenities and were very clean. However, the walls are quite thin, so noise from doors closing or people in the hallway can be noticeable. Breakfast had a modest selection, but the quality was good. It was enjoyable, though after two days, the options might start to feel repetitive. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with great service, a clean and functional room, and decent breakfas, good value for money hotel at a good location.

We had a good 3-night stay at Ibis Styles Barcelona City Bogatell. The hotel is very good for a 2-star hotel, the breakfast was fantastic with several types of bread, cold cuts and more. The location is superb, just next door to the Bogatell Metro. There's a nice rooftop pool, which we could not use at this time of the year.

We stayed for a single night. PROS: We did like the location, the rooftop, and the styling of the building. CONS: The receptionist was not kind. She treated us like a number. Not even a welcoming word. I am aware that it can be challenging to be nice to everyone but in my opinion, that is a requirement for this position. The heating just got crazy: I set the heating on A (automatic) and the temperature in the middle, expecting 20/22 degrees. We went out for a bit and then we came back, the room has hot as hell! Setting it in cool mode did nothing. We couldn't open the windows too much so it took a lot of time to get the room to a correct temperature again. The bed sheets were not tight and when we removed the duve, everything came off, so we had to redo the bed. All in all these are not huge problems, but I expect regular things to work as intended for this sort of hotel. I think of them as improvement points! :D
